With the excellent ageing and oxidation resistance of its synthetic base oil, Klübersynth UH1 6 oils attain a much longer service life than mineral oils. Service intervals can be extended and for-life lubrication is possible in certain cases. The wide service temperature range often allows a single viscosity class to be used for both low and high temperatures.The optimised friction behaviour of the polyglycol base oil reduces power loss and improves gear efficiency. The good wear protection of both gear teeth and rolling bearings enables the service life calculated for the lubricated components to be attained in practice.The high micropitting resistance acc. to FVA 54 IV GFT > 10 offers sufficient protection also to gears subject to high loads that are at risk of micropitting. The excellent viscosity-temperature behaviour supports the formation of a sufficient lubricant film also at elevated or high temperatures. Seals made of 72 NBR 902, 75 FKM 585 or 75 FKM 170055 are resistant to Klübersynth UH1 6 oils.Klübersynth UH1 6 oils are NSF H1-registered for use in the food and pharmaceutical sectors; they are compliant with FDA 21 CFR Sec 178.3570.
