，是美國高中生進入美國大學的標準入學考試。SAT考試成績是美國大學唯一能夠得到的、可以比較來自不同地區和學校學生的成績，所以對錄取與否及獎學金多少的影響非常大。美國3600余所大學都接受SAT考試成績。二、考試簡介SAT考試分為兩部分：1.SATI（SATReasoningTest）：包括數學、閱讀、寫作3個部分，考試時間為3小時45分鐘。2.SATII（SATSubjectTests）：包括數學、物理、化學、生物、文學、美國歷史、世界歷史、外語（漢語、日語、德語、法語、西班牙語、拉丁語等20種）。部分美國名校只要求中國留學申請人提供SATI的成績，部分院校及專業要求申請人提供SATII的單科考試成績。SATII考試時間為1小時，大部分為選擇題，每科滿分為800分，主要考查考生某一學科的知識和運用這些知識的能力。三、考試報名決定報名前，首先要有一張國際通用信用卡，如果沒有，需要辦理一張中國銀行的 長城國際信用卡 。具體報名程序如下：1.登錄www.collegeboard.com注冊個人信息，從而獲得用戶名和密碼；2.登錄SAT首頁，進入自己的賬戶。填寫個人在校成績、期望申請的專業等信息；3.上述信息填寫完畢后，第二次登錄時，這些信息不會出現，此時直接點擊 newregistration 進入即可。在注冊第一頁選擇考試類型、考點、年級（美國的12年級等于中國的高中三年級）等；4.點 continue 進入下一頁面，選擇考試時間；5.進入下一頁面，選擇是否接受 studentanswerservice 的服務（如果選 yes ，要交額外的費用，但考試后可獲得考試報告）；6.進入下一頁面，填寫欲申請的學校（也可以不填）；7.進入下一頁面，選擇考試地點（如選擇香港，點 search ，會出現幾個地點，可選擇其中之一；點 add ，再選擇）；8.進入下一頁面，此時會出現 registrationinformation 、 feeandpayment 和 creditcardinformation 。填寫信用卡類型、卡號及有效期，之后會得到確認單，報名即完成。四、什么是PSAT？PSAT（PreliminarySAT）是SAT的預備測驗，這個測驗的分數可以用來申請NMSQT（NationalMeritScholarshipQualifyingTest，美國的模范學生獎學金資格測驗）。對于廣大中國考生而言，PSAT難度要低于SAT，但是考試科目基本一致，都是閱讀、寫作、數學，考生可以通過PSAT的培訓來逐步適應SAT的考試。可以說，PSAT是SAT的預演與準備，PSAT與SAT相結合的培訓能夠更有效地幫助中國考生打好基礎、適應考試，更有利于考生在SAT考試中考出好成績。五、計分方式1.SAT每一類型考題都是由易而難排列。2.除SATI部分數學題目外，SATII和SATI其他所有題目答錯皆倒扣分，但未作答的題目則以零分計算。3.作答時可利用題目的空白處計算或做記號，但所有答案均需填寫在答題紙上才計分。答題紙要小心填寫，如有污損應擦拭干凈。4.SATI閱讀、數學及寫作各部分的分值均為800分，SATII每科分值也是800分。六、成績查詢考試后兩周，考生可通過網站www.collegeboard.com查詢考試成績。七、考試建議1.準許帶進考場的物品：（1）護照及準考證（2）2支2B鉛筆和橡皮擦　　注意：不要使用自動鉛筆、鋼筆或圓珠筆。自動鉛筆涂黑的效果不如2B鉛筆，使用鋼筆或圓珠筆答題則會得0分。（3）計算器（用于數學部分）（4）手表（不帶語音報時功能）（5）手袋或背包（必須放在座位下方）（6）一些食品和飲料（必須放在所帶的手袋和背包里，考試休息間隙時可以食用）2.不準帶進考場的物品：（1）草稿紙（2）字典、書和筆記本（3）圓規和各種尺子（4）熒光筆和彩色鉛筆（5）隨身聽和便攜式CD播放器（6）相機（7）帶有語音報時功能的手表（8）手機以及除計算器外的其他電子設備3.備考建議SAT考查考生經過長期學習所獲得的能力，準備考試有短期和長期兩種準備：A.短期準備：（1）熟悉題目結構、題型、考試要求及考試程序；（2）詳讀InternationalSATProgramRegistrationBulletin手冊，了解更多考試及考前和考后的相關事項。B.長期準備：一般而言，短期集中的練習對熟悉考試題型和減少考試焦慮頗有幫助，但長期努力才是準備考試的不二法門。考生應多選修較富挑戰性的學術性課程，廣泛研讀學術性及課外書籍。
