除砂清潔器是鉆井作業中的第二級固控設備，主要用來除去鉆井液中粒徑為40－74 m的有害固相顆粒。利用離心沉降工作原理，懸浮顆粒受到離心加速度的作用后可從液體中分離出來。
目前有除砂清潔器型號JZQJ300×2、JZQJ250×2和JZQJ300×1、JZQJ250×1，前者適用于3000米以上的鉆機，后者適用于3000米以下的小型鉆機和修井鉆機。

As a solids control equipment of the second stage in drilling operation, desander is used to remove harmful solid particles of 40-74 m in drilling liquid. Suspending particles can be separated from the liquid under the centrifugal acceleration, by use of working principle of centrifugal subsidence.
At present time, two types, ZQJ300×2/ZQJ250×2 and ZQJ300×1/ZQJ250×1, are available. The former applies to over 3000-meter-long drills, and the latter applies to small drills of less than 3000 meters and service rig.
